AustGrade Swim School Mascot is an AUSTSWIM accredited fun and friendly swim school, mainly focusing in Learnt to swim classes. We teach more than just swimming strokes, we aim to equip children with life saving skills for life. These include:

• Developing strong and effective kicking techniques
• Paddling and sculling actions
• Breath control for younger swimmers
• Proprioception and mobility in the water
• Correct streamlined body position in the water, preparing children for freestyle strokes
• Developing confidence and comfort in the water

Our friendly and highly qualified swimming instructors are here to build your child’s confidence and to be water safe in all water environment, to create good habits from the very first lessons.

The swimming instructors use toys and aids such as noodles and kickboards to assist kids in gaining skills in swimming strokes.

Our environment is safe, friendly and fun, which we find essential for learning to swim.

We would love each child to develop a love for the water through our swim classes. In fact we also specialise in working with children who are fearful in developing their comfort and confidence in the water.

The pool is heated to 32-33 degrees and it’s salt chlorinated water which offers some big advantages over traditional chlorinated swimming pools.
