We know you’ll have lots of questions before you start your child’s journey with AustGrade Swim School – our team of friendly staff are always ready and willing to assist and answer your questions. Some of our more commons questions are listed below.

What if I miss a lesson?

Compensation for missed lessons is not available.

What if my child as missed up to 5 lessons or more?

Unfortunately we are unable to provide refunds for large numbers of missed lessons. However in the circumstances of ongoing illness, major injury or hospitalisation and if a doctor certificate is provided, management will be able to assist further.

Is AustGrade Mascot a nut free zone?

AustGrade Mascot is a food free zone, including nuts and snacks. However drinks are allowed.

What if my child is late from a lesson?

If you are late, your child will still be able to take part in the lesson – however lessons run to strict times and do not get extended due to arriving late.

What if I forget my child’s water nappies / goggles / swimmers or towel for the lesson?

No problem! We sell swim nappies, googles, towels and swimming costumes at our reception.

Is it possible to re-assess my child?

Absolutely. You can arrange for your child to be reassessed with one of our friendly staff at the reception desk.

How do I re-enroll my child for next term?

Our team will send a reminder notification 2 weeks prior to the end of term, advising of re-enrollment requirements and lessons information. We are able to re-enroll children into the same class for the next term if confirmation is received within week of the notification being sent out and upfront payment in full has been received.

To assist with this process (and paying electronically), where possible please put your child’s name and time/date of the lesson in the payment description and send a copy of the receipt to our team. This will assist them with confirming payment information and locking in your preferred lesson time.We have a re-enrollment process for each term to assist parents with obtaining their preferred day and time for lessons.

How to withdraw my child from the current class?

If you request to cancel your child’s term enrollment once payment has been made, refunds are only considered for students who have unfortunately incurred major Illnesses or hospitalisation. Please note, in the event of missed or cancelled lessons, refunds will not be granted.

Is my (and my child's) personal information protected?

AustGrade Mascot Swim School is committed to the protection of customer’s privacy and personal information. Your privacy is protected under the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998. Personal information may only be disclosed in accordance with the exemptions provided under the Act.

We will only use the personal details collected for administration purposes related to the facility or service for which it is being completed and when we communicate information to you regarding any of our facilities, programs, services or promotions that are deemed appropriate to your interests and needs and which may enhance your use of AustGrade Mascot Swim School. We will not make this information available to any third party unless it is necessary as part of the provision of this product or service.
